Dear Friends and Colleagues

These are uncertain and unprecedented times, as nCoV-19 affects the health and safety of people around the world, with Europe now the epicentre of the pandemic. Our top priority during this time is to protect the well-being of our employees, clients, partners and friends and importantly to ensure our continued ability to serve you. Fortunately, SciMed was set up from the very start to encompass remote and home working and we have many years of experience of making this work successfully. This means that, although we are implementing travel restrictions for our staff, we are able to continue to serve our clients in almost exactly the same way as before. We do not envisage significant interruption to our e-learning, scientific support and consulting activities, but we have plans to minimise any disruption as the situation evolves. Further, because of our depth of expertise in tele-working we are well placed to work closely with clients to advise on creative ways to “keep the show on the road” during this troubling time. Indeed, we are working with a number of our clients to help then to move planned advisory boards and business meetings into the virtual realm.

We are aware that coronavirus’s continued spread will have an economic impact and lead to interruptions and changes to everyday business activities. We are here to help in any way we can. Your SciMed Consulting point of contact will be available as usual by phone, email and Skype, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with them. In the event of illness, we will ensure that another colleague will be available to work with you.

We wish good health to you and your families, and we look forward to continuing to work with you during this challenging time.

Keep well from the SciMed Team
